    Corvian Community School Site Tour

    Come get a behind the scenes look at this new 2-story, 500-student community charter school in Charlotte, North Carolina. The 16-classroom high school represents a new model for learning, with unique amenities including a black box theatre, innovation lab/maker space, art studio with kiln, open concept learning seminar spaces, amphitheater-style grand stair, collaborative media space, and open ceilings throughout. The school also includes an administration area, a wood-floored gym, locker rooms, fitness rooms, music rooms, and a full dining area. Located adjacent to Corvian's new fully operational middle school, safety and communication are of the utmost importance on this project.

    Lexee Zutz - Cushman Wakefield | As an Owner’s Representative, Lexee is an advocate for her clients from concept to construction completion. Prior to her time at Cushman & Wakefield, she worked in the construction management industry as a project manager and lead the Sustainability & Virtual Design departments for a Fortune 500 company. Lexee has worked with clients in a variety of industries including in the fields of education, healthcare, multi-family, and corporate commercial. She received degrees in Architectural Engineering and Construction Management from Milwaukee School of Engineering and her MBA from Queens University.

    Anne Goodson - Barringer Construction | Senior Project Manager for Barringer Construction, Anne Goodson has dedicated her career to building educational and institutional facilities and has overseen nearly $500 million in school construction. Anne serves as Charlotte Green Schools Chair for the USGBC and is also actively involved in the Association for Learning Environments (A4LE), Society for College and University Planning (SCUP), and Construction Professionals Network of NC (CPN).  Anne received a Bachelor of Science in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Georgia Tech with Highest Honors.

    Cancellations made 72-hours prior to the event will receive a refund. Due to our commitment with the meeting facility for food and beverage quantities, all other cancellations or no-shows will be invoiced for the full cost of the event.
